And since our ‘Citizen by Investment’ programme was introduced in 2013, your dream can be come a reality in as little as 90 days. Family members can also become citizens through one simultaneous application. You simply have to fulfil certain criteria, with four investment options available to you:-


1. NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND Option A. For a single applicant or a family of four or less, the NDF contribution is US$100,000 with processing fees of US$30,000.


Option B. For a family of five or more the NDF contribution is US$125,000 with processing fees for a family of five members of US$30,000 for the main applicant, spouse and two dependents, with US$15,000 for each additional dependent.


2. REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Applicants must make a minimum investment of US$200,000 in a CIP pre-approved real estate development for a period of 5 years. The processing fees are US$50,000 for a family of up to four with US$15,000 for each additional dependent.


3. BUSINESS INVESTMENT An individual can make an investment of at least US$1,500,000 in an approved business or make a joint business investment where each investor applicant contributes a minimum of US$400,000 each, totaling a minimum of US$5,000,000 to the joint investment.

4. THE UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST INDIES FUND

This is a mechanism for financing UWI’s fourth landed campus. Applicants who choose this option will be required to make an investment of US$150,000 for a family of six or more. Participation in the option will entitle one family member to a one year, tuition only, scholarship at the University of the West Indies.


There is an extensive business network, as well as authorised government representatives and licensed agents authorised to process applications for Antigua and Barbuda citizenship.
